Scientific and practical courses at the National Center of Archeology Academy of Sciences RUz.

Since the beginning of 2021, the National Center of Archeology Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan has launched a series of scientific and practical courses aimed at improving the skills of researchers and young scientists, including university teachers, museum staff, as well as specialists of the Center. From January 18 to March 18, the scientific and practical courses were devoted to the problems of Stone Age archaeology, and from March 15 to April 15, the theme of the courses is "The study of ceramic products during archaeological excavations. Description of ceramic products. Drawing of ceramic products", in which great importance is paid to the processing of ceramic products found archaeological excavations and their study in the laboratory. The lecturers of the scientific courses are the leading specialists of the National Center of Archeology.

From April 2, 2021, the practical part of the courses “Study of ceramic products during archaeological excavations" began. Description of ceramic products. Drawing of ceramic products". They are attended by researchers of the center, young researchers, doctoral students and laboratory assistants, as well as students, university teachers and museum staff who will master such skills as pre-cleaning, description and drawing of ceramic products found during archaeological excavations, as well as their visual recreation with the help of modern technologies. Courses, both theoretical and practical, will serve as a necessary skill for young researchers.

In the following months, the National Center for Archaeology's research and practice courses will continue and cover topics such as GIS technologies and 3D modeling in archaeology.
