History of human adaptation to the environment and the use of natural resources

On November 29 – 30, 2022, the staff of the laboratory "Landscape Archaeology" of the National Center of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan held a master class on the topic: "Human adaptation in the environment and the history of the use of natural resources" for students of the Historical Faculty of the National University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.The reports covered the issues of human adaptation in the Stone Age, the pros and cons of the ecological catastrophe of the Pleistocene epoch, the origins of the formation of a cult– religious worldview in the period of stone and paleometall.The latest methods of petroglyph research using 3D modeling and GPS are highlighted.In addition, the staff of the laboratory "Landscape Archaeology" of the NCA of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan clearly showed the differences in the technology of making tools from stone of the Paleolithic period.
